Christmas in “Little Washington” Parade and Festivities

Bring Holiday Magic to Rappahannock County, Virginia

The twelfth annual Christmas in Little Washington, featuring a parade for all ages, local food vendors, and an artisan market, will be held Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the parade beginning at 1:30 p.m.

The parade will feature the United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, the Rappahannock County High School Marching Band, antique cars, local fire and rescue trucks, and Santa Claus. Following the parade, children may visit with Santa Claus at his workshop, who will have a small gift for every child.

Local and regional food vendors include: Tula’s Restaurant and Bar; Griffin Tavern; Pen Druid Brewery; Hopkins Ordinary Ale Works; The Little Country Store (Etlan, Virginia); SoBo Mobile food truck; and the Bratwurst King food truck.

The artisan market will feature locally made and handcrafted wares from artists and shops around Rappahannock County and the Virginia Piedmont.

Washington, Virginia, known as the “First Washington of All”, is a small, historic village located near the Shenandoah National Park on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
