Muskrat Haven Farm, Amissville

Manfred and Etta Call have pick-your-own and fresh-picked strawberries, blueberries, black and red raspberries, blackberries and pumpkins in addition to apples and yellow peaches. At season's peak Muskrat has heirloom tomatoes, melons and sweet corn. Reserve a fresh-dressed rabbit 24 hours in advance.

Nick and Gardiner Lapham's Farm at Sunnyside grows certified organic fruits and vegetables for sale locally as well as at area farmers' markets, restaurants, and through an on-farm community supported agriculture program.

Waterpenny Farm, Sperryville

Eric Plaksin and Rachel Bynum grow vegetables, melons, flowers and pumpkins without pesticides, plus apples from the orchard and pumpkins in the fall. Community Supported Agriculture shares available. Selling at Takoma Park Farmers Market on Sundays.
