About:

"Soil Carbon Cowboys"
12 minutes
Filmmaker: Peter Byck

Meet Allen Williams, Gabe Brown, and Neil Dennis: heroes and innovators! These ranchers now know how to regenerate their soils while making their animals healthier and their operations more profitable. They are turning on their soils, enabling rainwater to sink into the earth rather than run off. And they are turning on soils to retain that water, so the ranches are much more resilient in drought. It's an amazing story that has just begun. (Vimeo)

"Pollinators Under Pressure"
15 Minutes
Filmmaker: Matthew Schmid

This short film is narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio. It seeks to raise public awareness about pollinators, which includes bees, bats, butterflies, birds, and selected mammals; the important ecological and economic roles they play; and threats they face. (The Dirt)

"Monarchs: The Milkweed Mission" 9 Minutes
Filmmakers: Turk Pipkin and Christy Pipkin

"The Milkweed Mission" tracks the amazing year-long path of North America's main Monarch butterfly population, documenting threats from logging and community conservation challenges in the winter reserves in Michoacán, Mexico, to the loss of essential pollinators and milkweeds due to droughts, climate change, and chemical agriculture across the U.S. and into the northern migration range in Canada.
