Lynn Lauritzen, PATH Foundation
If you manage volunteers or plan events for your organization, please join us for this training series. Created by the Points of Light Foundation, these 6 interactive workshops support organizations as they build a sustainable volunteer program. Participants will form a comprehensive understanding of the major components of a nonprofit volunteer management program. Nonprofits are encouraged to attend each or all dates. Those who attend all sessions will be presented a certificate of completion.
In the fifth workshop of the series attendees will:
  • Articulate the benefits of supervising volunteers
  • Design and implement strategies for volunteer supervision
  • Identify effective ways to reward and recognize volunteers
Target Audience: Those with beginner or intermediate experience coordinating volunteers.
All workshops are free of charge for board, staff, and volunteers of nonprofit organizations operating within northern Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock counties.
