Book Club @ The Vineyard – Join us as we welcome author Andrew Evans, who will discuss his memoir The Black Penguin. Andrew is an award-winning author, travel writer, and TV host who has completed nearly 50 assignments for National Geographic, traveling across all seven continents. His writing appears in National Geographic Traveler, BBC Travel, and Reader's Digest, among others. Andrew's work celebrates the beauty and diversity of the world, emphasizing respectful storytelling and sustainable travel. His memoir, The Black Penguin, received the ALA Stonewall Honor, and he’s been honored by SATW, NATJA, and Reach the World. With degrees from BYU and Oxford University, he resides in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, where he enjoys hiking, swimming, and knitting.
