Have you ever wanted to knit a stranded colorwork project but were afraid to try? Or knitted one and found your finished project was not what you’d hoped? Join us in our studio for a fair isle techniques workshop, where you’ll learn tips and tricks to knit successful stranded colorwork projects. This class is for Advanced Beginner knitters. The ability to cast on and cast off, knit, purl, work in the round, and comfortably tension yarn with at least one hand is a must. $30.00 per person, please email us at blueridgeartisans@gmail.com to reserve your spot. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Class fee does not include materials. Fingering or DK weight yarn is recommended in two contrasting colors. Yarn will be available for purchase for those interested in using our yarns, but students must bring knitting needles suitable for fingering or DK weight yarns to class as we do not sell knitting needles or other tools in the shop. The Spirit Trail Fiberworks gallery and shop will also be open to the general public for Second Saturday, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
