Come to our pottery studio to design and make a large, 11"x 8” x 1/2” ceramic tile. We will be working on leather-hard clay, using vibrant underglaze colors, and experimenting with stamping, drawing, painting and carving to make your own design. Please come with drawings or other inspiration. We’ll have samples, too. The tiles will dry and be bisque-fired in our studio, and then finished with a transparent, food-safe glaze. There will be a final firing before the tiles can be picked up, in mid May. This workshop is for all levels of experience, ages 13 and up. Limit 6 students. Cost: $30 per person.
