You’re passionate about your cause and the people who make the mission a reality. You want to share the news with the world! But sometimes anxiety about performing in public or a deep-seated fear of public speaking can get in your way.
Even if you’re okay with planned presentations (with lots of practice!), when asked to spontaneously speak on your feet or requested to “say a few words” about your organization, sometimes your mind seems to go blank. What might have been a golden opportunity to make a favorable impression can pass if you can’t speak up with a compelling message.
Join speaking coach Norma Thatcher in learning how to overcome anxiety and nervousness related to speaking in public and receive practical tips on becoming a “practiced” impromptu speaker. This workshop is perfect for any member of your organization that speaks in public for your nonprofit’s mission, or someone who would like to improve his or hers public speaking skills.
