Lynn Lauritzen, PATH Foundation

Thursday, April 18, 1:00 – 4:00 pm

If you manage volunteers or plan events for your organization, please join us for this training series. Created by the Points of Light Foundation, these 6 interactive workshops support organizations as they build a sustainable volunteer program. Participants will form a comprehensive understanding of the major components of a nonprofit volunteer management program. Nonprofits are encouraged to attend each or all of the dates. Those who attend all sessions will be presented a certificate of completion.

In the first workshop attendees will:

  • Understand current trends in volunteerism
  • Explore the local volunteer landscape
  • Identify elements of volunteer engagement
  • Apply social motivators to volunteer engagement

Target Audience: Those with beginner or intermediate experience coordinating volunteers.

Please RSVP at https://pathforyou.org/resourc...

Program attendance is complimentary for board, staff and volunteers of organizations operating within the PATH Foundation service area (northern Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock counties). For participants from other organizations, a $25 charge applies.
