About:

Regional Philanthropy Study The Curtis Group Tuesday, October 8 6:00 – 7:00 pm To Register: https://pathforyou.org/resource-center/october-philanthropy-study/ In an increasingly competitive environment, it is more important than ever that nonprofits understand the dynamics of philanthropy in their community. Recognizing this reality, PATH and CNE collaborated with The Curtis Group to conduct an in-depth assessment of philanthropy in the region. By analyzing direct feedback from local funders, The Curtis Group gleaned important insights into these donor’s philanthropic motivations and decision-making processes. During this one-hour session nonprofits will learn how these local trends coincide with the latest national data and gain a competitive advantage in the current funding environment. A question and answer period will follow.
Key takeaways from this session include:
  • Insights on whether charitable dollars are remaining local or leaving the region
  • Donor perceptions of the vitality of nonprofit community
  • A deeper understanding of donor priorities, anticipated engagement, how they approach their charitable giving and what types of giving vehicles they are using
  • Strategies to grow contributed income and deepen donor and volunteer engagement based on the findings of this report
Intended audience: non-profit executives, development staff, foundation staff and board members. Program attendance is complimentary for board, staff and volunteers of organizations operating within the PATH Foundation service area (northern Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock counties). For participants from other organizations, a $25 charge applies.
